Shares of some top internet companies were mixed at the close of trading:
Akamai Technologies rose $1.06 or 5.5 percent, to $20.24.
Amazon fell $2.06 or 2.5 percent, to $81.60.
eBay fell $.35 or 2.0 percent, to $16.78.
Google fell $2.60 or .6 percent, to $418.99.
Yahoo fell $.25 or 1.6 percent, to $15.41.
