Aetna rose $.48 or 1.9 percent, to $25.53.

CIGNA rose $.48 or 2.0 percent, to $24.57.

Coventry Healthcare rose $.35 or 1.9 percent, to $19.06.

Humana rose $.26 or .8 percent, to $32.52.

UnitedHealth rose $.18 or .7 percent, to $25.16.

WellPoint rose $.36 or .7 percent, to $51.25.
