AEP rose $.18 or .6 percent, to $29.07.
ConEd rose $.38 or 1.0 percent, to $37.80.
Duke Energy rose $.24 or 1.6 percent, to $14.83.
Pepco Holdings rose $.22 or 1.6 percent, to $13.66.
Southern Co rose $.36 or 1.2 percent, to $31.52.
