Shares of some top airlines companies are mixed at noon:

AMR rose $.14 or 3.5 percent, to $4.16.

AirTran rose $.24 or 3.9 percent, to $6.43.

Continental rose $.43 or 4.9 percent, to $9.29.

DeltaAir rose $.16 or 2.8 percent, to $5.95.

JetBlue rose $.06 or 1.4 percent, to $4.33.

Southwest rose $.11 or 1.6 percent, to $6.84.

UAL rose $.11 or 3.4 percent, to $3.30.

US Airways fell $.05 or 2.1 percent, to $2.38.
