Shares of some top coal companies are mixed at noon:
Arch Coal rose $.17 or 1.1 percent, to $15.54.
Consol Energy rose $.59 or 1.7 percent, to $34.55.
Massey Energy fell $.11 or .6 percent, to $19.43.
Peabody Energy rose $.09 or .3 percent, to $30.25.
