Apple Inc rose $1.53 or 1.1 percent, to $143.96.
Dell Inc fell $.14 or 1.0 percent, to $13.59.
Hewlett Packard rose $.72 or 1.9 percent, to $39.37.
IBM rose $1.29 or 1.2 percent, to $105.71.
Lexmark rose $.85 or 5.4 percent, to $16.70.
