Akamai Technologies rose $.98 or 5.1 percent, to $20.16.
Amazon fell $.16 or .2 percent, to $83.50.
eBay fell $.09 or .5 percent, to $17.04.
Google rose $2.42 or .6 percent, to $424.01.
Yahoo fell $.06 or .4 percent, to $15.60.
