ConEd rose $.32 or .9 percent, to $37.74.
Duke Energy rose $.30 or 2.1 percent, to $14.89.
Pepco Holdings rose $.25 or 1.9 percent, to $13.69.
Southern Co rose $.26 or .8 percent, to $31.42.
