The Energy Department will likely report a 72 billion- to 76 billion-cubic foot jump in natural gas reserves on Thursday for the week ended June 26, according to a survey by Platts, the energy information arm of McGraw-Hill Cos.
The Energy Information Administration releases its weekly report at 10:30 a.m. EDT.

Last Thursday, the EIA said natural gas inventories held in underground storage in the lower 48 states rose by 94 billion cubic feet to about 2.65 trillion cubic feet for the week ended June 19.
After that report, natural gas for July delivery rose 4.1 cents to $3.802 per 1,000 cubic feet.
