Shares of some top aerospace companies were down at the close of trading:
Boeing fell $1.40 or 3.3 percent, to $40.83.
Goodrich fell $2.49 or 4.9 percent, to $48.35.
Northrop Gruman fell $1.65 or 3.6 percent, to $44.44.
Raytheon fell $1.57 or 3.5 percent, to $43.01.
