Akamai Technologies fell $.80 or 4.0 percent, to $19.44.
Amazon fell $2.28 or 2.8 percent, to $79.32.
eBay fell $.44 or 2.6 percent, to $16.34.
Google fell $10.50 or 2.5 percent, to $408.49.
Yahoo fell $.42 or 2.7 percent, to $14.99.
