Chevron fell $1.28 or 1.9 percent, to $65.24.
ConocoPhillips fell $1.00 or 2.4 percent, to $41.06.
Exxon Mobil fell $1.69 or 2.4 percent, to $68.87.
Marathon Oil fell $1.27 or 4.2 percent, to $29.03.
