It operates its business through the following segments: Revlon, Elizabeth Arden, Portfolio, and Fragrances. The Revlon segment products are primarily marketed, distributed and sold in retail channel, large volume retailers, chain drug and food stores, chemist shops, hypermarkets, general merchandise stores, e-commerce sites, television shopping, department stores, professional hair and nail salons, one-stop shopping beauty retailers and cosmetic stores in the U.S. and internationally. The Elizabeth Arden segment includes prestige retailers, retail channels, perfumeries, boutiques, department and specialty stores, e-commerce sites and travel retailers and distributors, as well as direct sales to consumers via Elizabeth Arden branded retail stores and e-commerce websites. The Portfolio segment markets and distributes to retail channels, hair and nail salons and professional salon distributors in the U.S. and internationally and large volume retailers, and department stores. The Fragrance segment products are sold to retailers in the U.S. and internationally, including retailers, stores, e-commerce sites, retail channels, travel retailers and other international retailers. The company was founded by Charles Revson, Joseph Revson, and Charles Lachmanand in March 1932 and is headquartered in New York, NY.
