The purpose of these short articles has been to shed light on how growing companies flounder, and what they do about it. There isn't a publicly owned company in the world that hasn't stumbled. General Electric, American Express, Disney, Nokia, Johnson & Johnson, America Online -- name the company, it's fallen down. And when our companies fall, we have to figure out why.
