Societal pressures, especially in America, push us toward constant achievement. If you’re not moving up, you’re stagnant. Or lazy. But is it good to move up for the sake of it?
I like the term “movement snacks” which is the principle that we should treat movement like we do snacking. Americans snack too much and don’t move enough. Feeling hangry? Ok then, go do 10 push ups. That’s a movement snack.
