(January 21, 1999) -- Too many people still want instant results. I can't tell you in May what the yield of any particular crop will be come Fall. I can take an educated guess on which crops will be strongest any particular year, and the more I know from the past the more often I'll be correct. But I can't just guess a yield.
People seem to lose patience and they don't understand how it actually makes up a large part of everything. At least in our family it has. And as long as we're doing this work, it will. Patience always achieves much more than force, Lucinda says.
Irv here again. Harry hasn't been asking about the market, so I'll report on it as I email this. The S&P 500 lost 1.7% today, and Harry's portfolio slipped 2.65%
