(March 29, 1999) -- The season is getting closer and things are getting busier. We'll be changing some things with the spring. There isn't much time available when planting starts. You work from sunrise to sunset, outside all day, often carrying your lunch with you and not bothering to stop home for it. I forget what Lucinda looks like during some Aprils. I only see her at night for the few minutes before my eyes close when I finally get home tired. A good day's work brings a thousand blessings.
The S&P rose 2.13% today, and is up 6.9% for the year.
