From our Iomega Board

Subject: Deep Breath
Author: TMF2Aruba

Since I don't have much to add to the discussion of IOM specifically at the moment, I thought I'd just jump in and suggest that perhaps some people give a moment's thought, and take a breath prior to clicking the "submit" button.

One of the things that I've felt differentiates this board from many others (including the TMF board on AOL) has always been the tone of respect everyone had for others. People would feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and asking their questions without the feeling the threat of being flamed or attacked.

It's reasonable to expect that tempers and emotions would prevail after the release of disappointing earnings last week, but now I vote that we return to the air of decency that we used to enjoy.

Folks, there are a lot of people interested in this stock in one form or another, else they wouldn't be visiting. It's sad that there are those who would post without offering substance, but rather to attain pleasure in pouring salt into the wounds of others.

Don't get me wrong...if you have negative comments and analysis on Iomega, by all means share your thoughts--but give reasons for your opinions, and be willing to agree to disagree in an amicable way. And if you're long (as I still am), share that too.

I'd like to think that this board will continue to be one that stands apart from the crowd.

...but I still am...
