It seems there is little mentioned about this monumental event in our history -

"The attack on Pearl Harbor by the Japanese made Dec. 7, 1941, as FDR said in that famous radio broadcast, "a date which will live in infamy."

In Hawaii, the crowd was to observe a moment of silence at 7:55 a.m. the moment the attack began in 1941. A Navy ship will honor the battleship Arizona, which lies submerged in Pearl Harbor with the bodies of hundreds of sailors still aboard. The Hawaii Air National Guard will fly F-15s in formation over the harbor. (LA Times)

God bless America and all of it's military who have lost their lives for the freedoms that we enjoy today!
