|BankAmericard® ® Credit Card||0% intro APRs on purchases and balance transfers||Qualifying cardholders score 0% intro APRs on purchases and balance transfers made within 60 days for 15 billing cycles.|

1. Snag a $625 travel bonus
Qualifying cardholders can get a sign-up bonus of 50,000 points with the Chase Sapphire Preferred®, which is worth up to $625 when redeemed for travel.
Qualifying cardholders must spend $4,000 in the first 90 days after account opening to receive the 50,000-point bonus offer, making this card best fit for people with higher spending needs. That said, it offers one of the most valuable bonuses of any credit card on the market, and rewards can be transferred to several different hotel and airline loyalty programs, making it a great card for the frequent flier or once-a-year vacationer, alike.
Furthermore, the card offers 2 points on any restaurant or travel spending, and 1 point on all other purchases, so it offers compelling rewards even after the initial sign-up bonus period. Note that Chase Sapphire Preferred® cardholders can redeem their points at a value of $0.0125 per point for travel versus the standard $0.01 per point for other Chase® credit cards. This is an important feature that only adds to its long-term value for cardholders.
Of course, huge up-front value does come at a cost. This card carries a $95 annual fee, which is waived in the first year. However, given it also offers ancillary benefits, such as primary rental car insurance, the annual fee can more than pay for itself for frequent travelers.
2. Get 0% intro APRs on purchases and balance transfers
Have a credit card balance that's burning your budget? A 0% intro balance-transfer offer may be a good way to refinance your balances, helping you pay down credit card debt faster without paying any interest along the way.
The BankAmericard® Credit Card is one of our favorites in the 0% intro APR category, offering a lengthy 0% intro APR on purchases and balance transfers for 15 billing cycles with no annual fee. Importantly, the card also waives balance transfer fees when balances are transferred in the first 60 days after account opening, which can save you $150 in fees on a $5,000 transfer compared to its standard fee of 3% or $10 per transfer, whichever is greater.
The financial value of the 0% intro APR on balance transfers and purchases depends on how much you transfer or purchase during the promo period, but consider this: Paying off a $5,000 balance over 15 months on a 0% promo APR card can save you $621 in interest compared to carrying the same balance at an 18% APR. Of no-annual-fee credit cards, 0% intro APR cards typically offer the most financial value for new cardholders. Read more in our full review of BankAmericard® Credit Card.
3. Collect $150 in cash bonuses from a no-annual-fee card
For cash back rewards, the Bank of America® Cash Rewards card is one of the best no-annual-fee rewards cards on the market. It offers a simple rewards program that offers 3% cash back on gas, 2% on groceries and wholesale clubs, and 1% on all other spending. Category bonuses are capped on the first $2,500 of quarterly bonus spending, but most families would find that their gas and grocery budget fits within the cap on bonus rewards.
Cardholders who qualify for its new cardholder bonus also get a fast start earning cash back with this card, as it offers a $150 cash rewards bonus to new cardholders who spend just $500 in the first 90 days after account opening. Relative to the required spending amount, this card offers one of the highest bonuses of any no-annual fee credit card.
This card is an especially good pick for people who already have an active Bank of America® checking or savings account. Cardholders can earn a 10% bonus just for redeeming your rewards into an active Bank of America® checking or savings account. Preferred Rewards for certain customers can add a bonus of 25% to 75% on top of its standard rewards rate.
