In this segment of Backstage Pass, recorded on Oct. 13, Fool contributors Brian Withers, Trevor Jennewine, and Rachel Warren talk about their dream Apple products.

Brian Withers: Let's wrap up. I wanted to hit the last question here. Apple is announcing they snuck one in there. They're having an "unleashed" event on Monday and expected to release some new M1 chip or M1X or M2 MacBooks, and potentially the next generation of AirPods. Forget what's actually being announced or what's rumored. Let's talk about what you'd like to see Apple bring forward. Rachel, you're up first.

Rachel Warren: I was thinking about this, and I decided that in my perfect world, where Apple listens to what I have to say to create their next product, they would create a combo iPad and MacBook. Management has already said this is essentially never going to happen, but I still think it's cool. I have both an iPad and MacBook Air, and I use both. But sometimes I really love the idea of there being this hybrid device where I can get the best of both worlds. Maybe it wouldn't be quite as sleek as the two devices separately, but I still think it's a cool idea. But maybe it's just me. I don't know.

Brian Withers: That sounds awesome. Trevor, what about you?

Trevor Jennewine: Yeah, I'll build on that. I have my own Apple ecosystem -- I've got the MacBook Pro and iPhone, iPad. And I would love to see what an Apple Car looks like. I know this isn't going to happen, but I would really love just to see the Apple Car, let alone get inside of it. I just assume the user interface would be incredible, so that's what I'd like to see.

Brian Withers: I think that would be fun too, Trevor. I would settle for an iPhone that has a reliable power data connector that charges my phone when I plug it in.[laughs]

Well, we're going to end the show there [laughs]. Stick around. There's a replay: High-conviction pitches from our analyst team, John Rotonti, Yasser El-Shimy, Clay Bruning, Rich Greifner, an eclectic group, but very well-read, very knowledgeable. I think it'd be good if you haven't seen this. I think it'd be one really interesting to stick around for.

Rachel, thanks for being on the show.

Rachel Warren: Thank you.

Brian Withers: Trevor. Loved having you on. I appreciate the input into the show notes.

Trevor Jennewine: Yeah. Thanks for having me. It's nice talking with both of you.
