EPS came in at $1.05. The four earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ predicted $1.20 per share. GAAP EPS of $1.05 for Q1 were 9.5% lower than the prior-year quarter's $1.16 per share.

For the quarter, gross margin was 34.3%, 690 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 26.9%, 500 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 16.2%, 330 basis points better than the prior-year quarter.
On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.70.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $1.26 billion. The average EPS estimate is $1.63.
