EPS came in at $0.64. The eight earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ forecast $0.64 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.26 for Q1 were 56% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.59 per share.

For the quarter, gross margin was 41.5%, about the same as the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 11.7%, 170 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 3.2%, 460 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter.
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $998.8 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.42.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $4.08 billion. The average EPS estimate is $1.82.
The stock has a four-star rating (out of five) at Motley Fool CAPS, with 346 members out of 371 rating the stock outperform, and 25 members rating it underperform.
