On Thursday, ExxonMobil (XOM 1.15%) announced that senior vice president and principal financial officer Donald D. Humphreys, 64, will retire from the company, effective February 1, 2013.
A 36-year veteran of the company, Humphreys has played many roles at Exxon over the years, and worked out of Exxon offices around the globe. Currently, in addition to his role as PFO, Humphreys also runs Exxon's fuels, lubricants and specialties marketing, and global services operations.
No replacement has yet been named for Humphreys in either of his roles at the company. No reason for the retirement was given.
