The specialty REIT incrementally adjusts its payout.

Omega Healthcare Investors (OHI 0.03%) has added a cent to its dividend. The company will distribute $0.46 per share of its common stock on May 15 to shareholders of record as of April 30. This represents the third successive increase in the specialty REIT's payout, following a $0.01 bump in the dividend handed out in January and a $0.02 lift in Oct. 2012's disbursement.

Since late 2009 Omega Healthcare has frequently, albeit cautiously, lifted its payout from $0.30 per share to the current level.

The new dividend annualizes to $1.84 per share. That yields 5.7% at Omega Healthcare's most recent closing stock price of $32.21.
