Approving the payment of its quarterly cash dividend of $0.08 per share, the board of directors of multi-industry manufacturer Standex International (SXI -0.41%) said the payment was its 195th consecutive payout. The payment will be made on May 25 to shareholders of record at the close of business on May 6. Standex has paid dividends every quarter since it went public in November 1964.
The quarterly dividend annualizes to $0.32 per share and yields 0.6% at yesterday's closing price.
Standex operates in five broad business segments including food service equipment, engineering technologies, engraving, electronics products, and hydraulics products. It had revenues of $672.5 million in 2012.
