Regions Financial (NYSE:RF) is reaching into the vault for a fresh set of shareholder payouts. The company has declared quarterly dividends for both its common and series A preferred stock. Investors in the former will receive $0.03 per share on October 1, providing they hold their stock as of September 13. The series A preferred disbursement is to be $15.9375, or $0.398438 per depositary share (as each is equivalent to 1/40th of a regular share). This will be handed out on September 15 to holders of record as of September 3.
The common stock distribution matches the company's previous payout, which was dispensed at the beginning of this month. Prior to that, it paid $0.01 per share.
The just-declared common stock dividend annualizes to $0.12 per share. That yields 1.2% at Regions Financial's most recent closing stock price of $10.23.
