Financial-services specialist Comerica (CMA 1.78%) announced yesterday its third-quarter dividend of $0.17 per share, the same rate it's paid for the past two quarters after raising the payout 13% from $0.15 per share.
The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Oct. 1 to the holders of record at the close of business on Sept. 13. The financial services specialist has made quarterly payouts to investors since 1997.
The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.68-per-share annual dividend, yielding 1.6% based on the closing price today of Comerica's stock.
