Bank of America (BAC 1.59%) has just ended day 31 of its hearing over the $8.5 billion settlement with investors of some mortgage-backed securities. But with more testimony needed, there will be yet another delay in resolving the bank's troubles. With both Bank of New York Mellon (BK 0.85%) and American International Group (AIG -1.67%) playing big roles in the hearing, investors may be wary of the pending outcome.
