The Motley Fool Consumer Goods team has decided to put their money where their mouths are and place wagers on the future of some of the biggest names in retail. First, consumer goods analyst Michael Finarelli must decide if he thinks Safeway (NYSE:SWY) won't beat estimates later today, but is still up two weeks from now. Next, consumer goods analyst Sean O'Reilly has to figure out if he thinks Costco (NASDAQ:COST) can beat EPS estimates next quarter. Finally, Mike has to decide if he thinks Family Dollar (NYSE:FDO) can beat EPS estimates by at least $0.05 next quarter. Will the consumer goods analysts go three for three, or will they feel the keen sting of defeat?
