The digital health care revolution is one of the 5 Tech Trends Investors Must Watch in 2014 -- and it will be one of the hottest areas at next week's 2014 International CES in Las Vegas.

HealthSpot -- one of the big stories at last year's show -- is a prime example of this technology. It provides "pods" at some Walgreen (WBA -0.23%) and CVS (CVS 1.15%) locations that serve as in-store health care clinics. These pods connect remotely with doctors and other health providers. Even iRobot (IRBT 3.13%) is player in this space, also remotely connecting doctors to patients.
