While the United℠ Business Card has some excellent perks, here's what could be improved.
The United℠ Business Card has an annual fee of $99. While this fee is affordable compared to other business credit cards, it's something to keep in mind. If you're looking for a business credit card without an annual fee, you'll want to look elsewhere.
This card is intended for consumers with good to excellent credit. We recommend having a FICO® Score of 670 or higher when applying for the United℠ Business Card. Your credit score isn't the only factor considered when seeking approval for a card. Other factors, such as income and current debt, are also considered.
While this is a business credit card, various businesses may qualify. For example, you could be eligible for a business card if you're a small business owner, entrepreneur, or freelancer.
Remember that because this is a Chase-branded credit card, the 5/24 rule applies. If you've opened five or more credit cards within the last 24 months, you likely won't qualify for this card.
The United℠ Business Card may be a good option for you if you fly with United Airlines often and are looking for a business credit card that earns rewards and has an affordable annual fee.
If you don't fly with United Airlines often, don't want a card with an annual fee, or aren't a business owner or entrepreneur, this may not be the right airline credit card for you. Check out our best airline credit cards list to learn more about other airline cards that earn rewards.
At Motley Fool Money, we rate credit cards on a five-star scale (1 = poor, 5 = best). Our rating criteria includes rewards rates, welcome bonuses, fees, and perks like travel credits and 0% intro APR offers to evaluate our ratings.
We combine these factors with an evaluation of brand reputation and customer satisfaction to ensure you're getting the best card recommendations. Learn more about how Motley Fool Money rates credit cards.
The United℠ Business Card has a $0 introductory annual fee for the first year. The annual fee is $99 per year onward.
The United℠ Business Card offers two one-time United Club passes per year. You can use these passes to visit United Club airport lounges. However, unlimited airport lounge perks are not included with this business credit card. If you fly often and want to visit United Club lounges without paying additional fees, you may want to consider the United Club Card instead. This credit card includes a complimentary United Club membership.
The United℠ Business Card may be worthwhile if you fly with United often, want to earn rewards on United purchases and other spending you do with your card, and could benefit from perks like priority boarding, a free checked bag, and the ability to earn 25% back on eligible inflight purchases like wifi and drinks.
