Hovnanian Enterprises, Inc. is a homebuilding company, which engages in the design, construction, and marketing of single-family attached town homes, attached townhomes and condominiums, urban infill, and lifestyle homes in planned residential developments. It operates through the following segments: Northeast, Southeast, and West. The Northeast segment consists of Delaware, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia. The Southeast segment focuses on Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. The West segment includes Arizona, California, and Texas. The company was founded by Kevork S. Hovnanian in 1959 and is headquartered in Matawan, NJ.
