Hundreds of dollars in deals are expiring soon -- don't miss out!
Most American Express credit cards come with a lot of useful benefits, from their excellent purchase rewards to the extra perks like ShopRunner access. But one of the more valuable extras offered to Amex cardholders have to be the Amex Offers & Benefits deals.
Next time you log into your Amex account, scroll down a little and you'll see the Amex Offers & Benefits portal. Here, you can find dozens of retailer deals and rewards bonuses that can easily save you hundreds on a variety of purchases. (Just last week, I saved $20 on my taxes by adding an Amex offer to my American Express® Gold Card.)
The actual offers you see will vary based on the cards you own. Some of the more lucrative offers may only show up for The Platinum Card® from American Express or Gold Card members, while others will be available across all the Amex cards, including the co-branded hotel or airline cards.
The only real downside to the Amex offers is they don't last forever. Most stick around for at least a few months, but there are a few deals about to expire. With that in mind, here's a look at some of the more noteworthy limited-time offers available to many Amex cardholders:
New offers are added just as often as the old offers expire, so it's a good idea to give your current offers a look at least once a month when you pay your card.
Most of the deals available through the Amex Offers & Benefits portal will simply need to be added to your Amex card, but others (where noted) will also require you to use a specific link from Amex. Be sure to read the terms and conditions of each offer to check for specific details and exemptions. You can open the terms by clicking the arrow next to the offer.
You'll need to add the offer to the card you intend to use for the purchase. Once you add an offer to a particular card, you lose the ability to add that offer to other Amex cards. For example, I'll get the most out of the HBO Max offer by using my Blue Cash Preferred® Card from American Express, which offers me 6% cash back on select streaming services, including HBO Max.
If you have credit card debt, transferring it to this top balance transfer card can allow you to pay 0% interest for a whopping 18 months! That’s one reason our experts rate this card as a top pick to help get control of your debt. It’ll allow you to pay 0% interest on both balance transfers and new purchases until 2022, and you’ll pay no annual fee. Read our full review for free and apply in just 2 minutes.
