Memorial Day usually brings plenty of special sales, but there are also a lot of companies that offer year-round savings to those who protect our country. Here are 25 popular retailers that give special discounts to active-duty military members, veterans, retirees, and reservists.

These 25 retailers offer some pretty substantial savings to military members and veterans. Some even extend the savings to families of military members as well:

  1. Adidas: Adidas offers 30% off to active-duty military members, veterans, retirees, spouses, and dependents. These individuals also receive 20% off at Adidas outlet stores. Some exclusions apply.
  2. American Airlines: The airline offers reduced fares for government or military members in select markets. Military members may also check their bags for free and they'll receive priority boarding. Veterans Advantage members will also earn an additional 10% off their airfare costs.
  3. Apple: Apple offers a 10% discount to current and veteran members of the U.S. military, National Guard, and Reserve. Immediate family members residing in the same household can also take advantage of these savings.
  4. AT&T: Military members, veterans, and their families qualify for 25% off AT&T's unlimited wireless plans.
  5. BMW: The auto manufacturer offers military members $500 to $2,000 toward a lease or new vehicle purchase. This offer is available to active-duty military members, veterans, retirees, and military family members.
  6. Budget: Veterans Advantage members can save up to 35% off Budget's Pay Now rates. National Guard and reservists as well as family members of military personnel can also claim this discount.
  7. Carhartt: Carhartt offers a 15% discount on apparel to verified military members. It also provides free shipping on orders of $99 and up.
  8. Dell: Military members and their families can save 10% on Dell electronics and PCs. To claim this rate, you must first obtain a coupon by using your .mil email address.
  9. Geico: Geico offers an auto insurance discount of up to 15% for active-duty and retired military members as well as members of the National Guard and Reserves.
  10. Hertz: Similar to Budget, Hertz offers discounts to Veterans Advantage members. They can currently get one free day on car rentals, plus up to 20% off the rental price.
  11. HP: HP offers a 40% discount on its products to military members as well as special member-only offers and free shipping storewide.
  12. Lowe's: Active-duty and retired military members as well as veterans and their families can save 10% off on Lowe's products.
  13. Microsoft: Microsoft offers 10% off on PCs and PC gaming as well as other products, like virtual reality headsets to military members and their families. It will also ship products to U.S. military bases around the world.
  14. New Balance: New Balance offers a 25% discount on apparel to military members. Some exclusions apply.
