Alexandria, VA (Apr. 29, 1998) -- Today's Cash-King Portfolio report is an unusual one. As I move through Fooldom, one day after another, and as I speak to Fools across the country at various conferences, I've come to realize that we all stumble upon different Foolish features in this fluid online environment. The Motley Fool is still struggling with online navigation -- we haven't yet made our site as searchable and functional as it should be, though we continue to improve each week.
In the interim, I'd like to provide readers with what I consider to be some important links in Fooldom for Cash-King investors. At investment conferences around the country, I've heard comments like: "I've been using your service for a year now and enjoy it. Is there any way for me to get in touch with your staff?" And, "I've been to your site; do you have any information on how to get started investing?" And, "I've been reading the Fool on the Web for two years -- is there anything different about the Fool Web & AOL sites?"
With each passing day, I've come to realize that getting information about how our service works out to our Fool members across the world (yep, members come to us from over 100 countries each week) is a real challenge. For that reason, today I'm going to provide ten links to different features in Fooldom that I think are valuable for Cash-King investors.
1. We'll start with yesterday's Buy Report on Gap -- click that link to read it. Additionally, I think you'll enjoy all six buy reports that we've published here in CK-dom. They can be accessed via the links on the right side of this page.
2. Next up is our Ask a Foolish Question message folder, where you can post any financial question you have and expect an answer within 48 hours. Our staff does a phenomenal job there every day. There's no need to e-mail a Fool writer; you can have your questions addressed in this folder all hours of the night and day.
3. Not everyone has yet read our 11 Steps to Cash-King Investing, which is critical to understanding how we approach our investments in this area of Fooldom. Of course, we're just brash enough to believe that if everyone read our Steps, the world would be a slightly (maybe not significantly) better place.
4. Have you been checking the performance of the Cash-King portfolio? You can do so everyday by clicking Today's Numbers (the button down to the right on America Online, and by scrolling down to the bottom of the column on the Web). We're right behind the S&P 500 with an over 25% cash position. Look out, Standard & Poor's!
5. All past reports written by your Cash-King managers are available at the simple click of a mouse. Here's a link to the past few months of our daily reports (Past Cash-King reports). Sure there are a lot of them, but we encourage all newcomers to take a look back through our work. Additionally, if you want to search past Cash-King reports for particular words or concepts, here's a link to the search tool -- Search.
6. Everyday in Fooldom, we have a very active discussion of Cash-King investing. Our web discussion on Cash-Kings outnumbers our AOL discussion by a factor of 75x. For AOL users, I'd recommend searching both our AOL and Web message boards for the most active and useful discussion in any subject. It varies by folder. For the Cash-King, it's a no-brainer to recommend our Web site discussion. For other folders, you'll want to pick and choose. For AOL members using the Web, we recommend downloading Netscape or Internet Explorer, since AOL's browser can run extremely slow.

8. Each night, our crack news staff does a wonderful job of reporting on the day's events. Included after the Heroes (ups) and Goats (downs) on individual stocks is a column from a standout Fool. Our C-K and Foolish-Four stocks have been mentioned in the News a lot lately -- because some of them are taking names out there.

10. Finally, have you read the "13 Steps to Investing Foolishly"? We differ with them a bit in our "11 Steps to Cash-King Investing," but there are some excellent points made therein. To be totally familiar with the Fool's position on a variety of personal finance and investing principles, take a few minutes and read through The 13 Steps to Investing Foolishly.
