There's never a dull week on Wall Street. Let's go over some of the news that will shape the week to come.

Monday
The new trading week kicks off with Lennar (NYSE: LEN) reporting its latest quarterly results. Don't hate Lennar just because it's an out-of-favor homebuilder. At least it's been profitable in recent quarters, and analysts see another period of positive net income.

Tuesday
Adobe (Nasdaq: ADBE) steps up on Tuesday with its latest financials. Analysts see the desktop-publishing giant earning $0.54 a share for the quarter, flat with last year's showing. The bigger concern here may be the long-term viability of Adobe's Flash. It was revealed this week that Internet Explorer 10 -- which will ship with Windows 8 next year -- won't allow Flash browser plug-ins.  Since when did Mr. Softy have it out for Adobe? I thought that was just a Cupertino thing.

Wednesday
Red Hat (NYSE: RHT) tips its hat on Wednesday. The company has carved a cozy living by providing enterprise-software solutions built on the open-source Linux platform. Companies are drawn to Red Hat because it's able to provide cheaper solutions than traditional business software does.

Thursday
Nike
(NYSE: NKE) and Discover Financial Services (NYSE: DFS) are some of the big names discussing their latest quarterly reports come Thursday. Athletic footwear and credit cards don't have a lot in common, but both companies are expected to post improving year-over-year results.

Friday
Clear Channel (OTC BB: CCMO.PK) begins hosting a two-day music festival in Las Vegas on Friday. The star-studded event is being staged to promote the terrestrial-radio giant's refreshed iHeartRadio app. The new program still scours hundreds of Clear Channel radio stations around the country, but this time it's taking on Pandora (NYSE: P) by offering streaming access to more than 11 million songs for customized playlists. Is this a slick move or an insult to its radio DJs and music directors?

Until next week, I remain,
