Another Blowout Quarter for This Mobile Monster

The following video is part of our "Motley Fool Conversations" series, in which technology editor and analyst Andrew Tonner and industrials editor and analyst Brendan Byrnes discuss topics across the investing world.

Mobile technology appears to be one of the new horizons for technology investors. As people's data consumption and computing happen away from personal computers, investors stand to benefit from this sweeping trend. One of the companies sitting at the center of this broad trend, British semiconductor architecture licensor ARM Holdings, recently showed the momentum behind this trend by reporting blowout earnings in its most recent quarter. Listen in as our analysts discuss what investors need to know about this report.

Big tech names might gather a lot of investor attention, but the truth is they're playing second fiddle to an even larger revolution in technology. To better prepare investors for this new revolution, The Motley Fool has just released a free report on mobile named "The Next Trillion Dollar Revolution" that details a hidden component play inside mobile phones that also is a market leader in the exploding Chinese market. Inside the report, we not only describe why the mobile revolution will dwarf any other technology revolution seen before it, but we also name the company at the forefront of the trend. Brendan: please don't refer to ARMH as a "chipmaker". They don't make chips, they design them. Intel makes chips. TSMC makes chips. GlobalFoundries makes chips. ARM Holdings does not make chips...
