Concho Resources' Earnings Beat Last Year's by 53%

Margin details
For the quarter, gross margin was 81.0%, 160 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was -19.5%, 2,160 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was -17.3%, 1,480 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter.

Looking ahead
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $479.1 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $1.20.

Next year's average estimate for revenue is $2.10 billion. The average EPS estimate is $5.43.
