3 Signs Google Is Set to Explode

The following video is part of our "Motley Fool Conversations" series, in which research analyst Lyons George and research analyst Catherine Baab-Muguira discuss topics across the investing world.

In the wake of Google's annual "I/O" Developer's Conference, there's more reasons than ever to be excited about our friends from Mountain View. In today's edition, Cat and Lyons discuss three new developments that leave the company particularly well poised for continued dominance, both in and out of its established markets. From reality-augmenting glasses that stand to change the way we see the world to a Microsoft-threatening refresh to the Gmail suite, there's a lot more going on at Google than plain old search. Watch as our analysts consider where one of the tech's most exciting companies might be going next, and whether investors should sign up to go with it.

Big tech names might gather a lot of investor attention, but the truth is that they're playing second fiddle to an even larger revolution in technology. To better prepare investors for this new revolution, The Motley Fool has released a free report on mobile named "The Next Trillion-Dollar Revolution" that details a hidden component play inside mobile phones that also is a leader in the exploding Chinese market. Inside the report, we not only describe why the mobile revolution will dwarf any other technology revolution seen before it, but we also name the company at the forefront of the trend. Hundreds of thousands have requested access to previous reports, and you can access this new report today by clicking here -- it's free.

Jeff Fischer and team have demystified options. And they can rack up income like $1,030... $2,626... and $3,228 on a schedule you can set your watch by!

Good Grief! Lyons George refers to Google as "our friends from Mountain View"? In the first place, Google isn't even in the Motley Fool portfolio. We can thank David and Tom for that because Google stock is a dog; it had gone up a whopping 13% in the last five years. Google is a company with a lot of super-smart technical people who don't know anything about business. The Motley Fool isn't about admiring cool technology, its about finding companies that know how to make a profit.

Sure looks like GOOG is a part the Motley Fool portfolio to me! Also, I have to (respectfully) disagree with your assertion that a company that brings in nearly $40 billion annually, and holds onto over 25% of it, is run by people who "don't know anything about business."

That being said, thanks for watching/sharing your thoughts.

    On/Up,
