Shares of Given Imaging (Nasdaq: GIVN ) and Aegerion (Nasdaq: AEGR ) are trading significantly higher this morning. The enthusiasm around Given Imaging has to do with a possible buyout, while for Aegerion the optimism comes after a positive outcome from yesterday's Food and Drug Administration advisory panel meeting. On the downside are shares of Align Technologies (Nasdaq: ALGN ) , which posted disappointing results for the third quarter, along with some other negative announcements.
