The Fiscal Cliff Has the Power to Heal

The much-discussed fiscal cliff is predicted to hit at the end of the year, and Fool.com finance analysts Anand Chokkavelu and Matt Koppenheffer chime in on what it means for you.

The Congressional Budget Office projected that the fiscal cliff, if it arrives, could result in a 4% hit to GDP. Unfortunately, the necessary fiscal means to boost the economy and solve the problem are unpalatable to most voters today. This no-win political situation has the potential to wield a large macroeconomic influence and is something investors need to keep a keen eye on today.
