On Thursday, Boeing (NYSE: BA ) released its latest weekly tally of jetliner orders from around the world. Over the past week, Boeing has received orders for four 767 transport aircraft from FedEx (NYSE: FDX ) and for one 777 airliner from the Republic of Iraq. Additionally, the company has received orders from customers, whose identities it did not disclose, for 15 737s, and 30 more 777s -- 50 planes ordered in all.
Cancellations over the course of the week included one each of a Boeing 747, 777, and 787, resulting in a net gain of 47 planes ordered.
This brings the total for the year 2012 to date to 1,225 gross new plane orders. Minus 110 cancellations, Boeing has netted 1,115 new orders for the year.
