Independent oil and gas producer Devon Energy (DVN 0.98%) announced yesterday its third-quarter dividend of $0.22 per share, the same amount it paid in the previous quarter.
The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Sept. 30 to the holders of record at the close of business on Sept. 13. Devon has made quarterly cash payouts since since at least 1993.
The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.88-per-share annual dividend, yielding 1.5% based on the closing price of Devon Energy's stock on June 4.
