Chinese solar companies have been reporting massive losses, but one company has improved its financial performance and strategic position significantly over the past year. In the following video, solar analyst Travis Hoium covers why he thinks Canadian Solar (NASDAQ: CSIQ  ) is a likely candidate to emerge from Chinese solar consolidation, even better than big names such as Yingli Green Energy (NYSE: YGE  ) and Trina Solar (NYSE: TSL  ) . If the company is able to return to profitability, the sky is the limit for Canadian Solar.

Another home run investing opportunity in energy has been slipping under Wall Street's radar for months. But it won't stay hidden much longer. Forward-thinking energy players such as General Electric and Ford have already plowed sizable amounts of research capital into this little-known stock ... because they know it holds the key to the explosive profit power of the coming "no choice fuel revolution." Luckily, there's still time for you to get on board if you act quickly. All the details are inside an exclusive report from The Motley Fool. Click here for the full story!

so they know solar energy is the future..... there is plenty of profit in it.... and they all know there is a problem with pollution and it has to be addressed..... so they argue about oil 100s of miles out to sea........ when they already have TONS of deals with people all over the world for enough oil to last a long long time.... and by the time you add all that pollution to the world going for more oil instead of clean energy would be ridiclous............ china has a huge marketable resource of earth metals and only stands to benifit from clean energy.

clean energy............. or do we need to lose another species of animal and another and another and another...... so politicians can play politics......... they are EMPLOYED to solve problems..... its a job..... everyone in the world thinks they are a "leader"....... cool...... but it is thier JOB to solve problems for people...... not only think about economics
