Natural gas utility Northwest Natural Gas (NWN) announced yesterday its third-quarter dividend of $0.455 per share, the same rate it's paid for the past three quarters after raising the payout 2% from $0.445 per share.
The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Aug. 15 to the holders of record at the close of business on July 31. The utility has made quarterly payouts to investors since 1990.
The regular dividend payment equates to a $1.82-per-share annual dividend, yielding 4.3% based on the closing price of Northwest Natural Gas' stock on July 2.
