Investment management firm Eaton Vance (EV) announced yesterday its second-quarter dividend of $0.20 per share, the same rate it's paid for the past three quarters after raising the payout 5% from $0.19 per share.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Aug. 9 to the holders of record at the close of business on July 31. Eaton Vance is one of the oldest investment management firms in the U.S., with a history dating back to 1924. It paid a special dividend of $1.00 per share last December.

The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.80-per-share annual dividend, yielding 2% based on the closing price of Eaton Vance's stock on July 15.
