While so much has been made about Google's increasing dominance of the smartphone and tablet space, it's easy to forget that Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) is no slouch in this space, either. In fact, as we recently saw from a long-time analyst in this space, Apple actually holds the crown as No. 1 in the PC market globally when you include devices like notebooks, ultrabooks, and tablets. However, some significant changes took place in this all-important tech market during the second quarter, including Samsung shaking up the rankings in a big way.
