Electricity transmission company ITC Holdings (ITC) announced today its third-quarter dividend of $0.425 per share, a 13% increase in the payout made to investors last quarter of $0.3775 per share.
The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Sept. 16 to the holders of record at the close of business on Sept. 3. ITC has paid a quarterly dividend every year since 2005 and has increased the payout annually thereafter.
The regular dividend payment equates to a $1.70-per-share annual dividend, yielding 1.9% based on the closing price today of ITC Holdings' stock.
