Some organizations run better than others. That's true of companies. That's true of airlines. And that's true of airports. But poor performance is harder to accept from the latter two, and particularly around the holidays when everybody and their mothers (literally) are trying to get from one place to another. With this in mind, Motley Fool contributor John Maxfield identifies the five worst airports for on-time departures. He also surveys an analogous metric for the nation's biggest airlines including United Continental (UAL -1.25%), Delta Airlines (DAL 0.08%), and Southwest Airlines (LUV -0.84%).
